According to the organization’s statement there was a lot of progress, but Syria n President Bashar Assad has to increase his efforts in order to fulfill the agreed-upon terms. The entire Syria n chemical arsenal, according to the plan, should have been destroyed by mid 2014. So now another timetable will be agreed on. Assad is laughing himself to death. He tricked the world, which, in this case, wanted to be tricked. This will have far-reaching consequences, not just for Syria . Leaders who are willing to butcher their own people and attack other countries understand that this is the way to trick the world.

Assad kept most of his chemical warfare agents. He’ll use them. He’ll use them not just against his own people. The world doesn’t get the Arab way of thinking and the codes of conduct in our area. So Assad has chemical weapons, Iran will have nuclear weapons, other countries in the area will also have nuclear weapons. Only Israel will keep warning others, but most of the world had had it with Israel and couldn’t care less about any warnings from Jerusalem. That’s just the way things are. Only Israel is left to handle matters, but will that happen?

It’s difficult to say, but every day our situation grows worse. It’s not just Syria and Iran, but also the weak response to the new intifada and the attacks from Gaza. A weak country doesn’t exactly get any respect and has no deterrence powers whatsoever. That’s exactly what’s happening now, right in front of our eyes.
